John Fisher was born and raised in Columbus, GA. After obtaining his undergraduate business degree from Columbus State University, John obtained his Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law. While in Law School, John was selected to the ATLA National Trial Competition Team where he participated as a trial advocate.
As a trained trial advocate, John was recognized in competition for outstanding trial advocacy. John also was awarded various scholarships for both academic and trial advocacy performance. This outstanding litigation foundation catapulted John to becoming a highly skilled and effective courtroom litigator. Few understand the nuances of the art of the courtroom as well as John.
John began practicing law in 1997 as a litigation associate for the largest law firm in West Alabama. John spent these two years as a litigation associate, focusing on insurance defense, business defense, business counsel and general litigation. In 1999, John left this firm to establish his own firm with a close friend and law school classmate. John has maintained his private law practice now for over 26 years.
In practice, John has provided services in a wide array of business and personal litigation matters, as well as personal and business counsel service matters. This broad view of law and life has greatly enhanced John’s ability to provide sound, quality legal and personal advice for Clients from all walks of life.

In addition to being licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama and the US Supreme Court, John is also a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Hawaii.
