John Anthony Fernandez received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and his law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. Upon returning to Michigan, John spent several years at Wayne County Neighborhood Legal Services representing low-income and under-resourced persons in a variety of areas of the law.
The focus of his representation over the past three decades has been in assisting the disabled, the injured, and children with special needs. John also Represents individuals in the practice areas of Education, Municipal and Government Law, Election Law, Professonal License Defense and Civil Rights.
John is a licensed Michigan attorney also admitted to the United States Federal Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and is Lento Law Group's Michigan Managing Attorney representing injury victims throughout the State of Michigan, Civil Rights Nationwide and represents disabled individuals in Social Security hearings anywhere in the United States.
John is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Michigan Bar Association, Hispanic Bar Association, The National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), The National Lawyers Association (NLA), National Bar Association (NBA) Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commerce and Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce.
